April is almost over, but before it is, the boys and I will be playing our first ever DOUBLEHEADER at Benton Station in Sauk Rapids!!!! We will be on at 10PM tonight, (April 21) and then again tomorrow the 22nd. We couldn’t have picked a better place to spend our weekend, and we can’t wait to see y’all out there!

Tammy Rescued!!!!!
The search parties have returned home as tears of joy stream down the faces of loved ones! Tammy James, our original super-fan, and lifelong Gregory James Band groupie has finally returned to the band after 3 weeks in captivity. Rescued by local hero Scott Herold, here we see Tammy, clearly frazzled and in shock, but safe and sound and relieved to be in Scott’s possession.
Scott retrieved her one night from the den of thieves and villains where she was being held hostage, and we believe him to literally be her knight in shining armor.
If you want to see Tammy and ask her about her adventures firsthand, come out to THE BENTON STATION this weekend, on Saturday, March 4th and see the Gregory James Band! This will be Tammy’s first show back, and we couldn’t be more excited. We have several new tunes we have been working on to celebrate her return, so be sure to come join in her welcome home party, this Saturday night! YeeHawww!!!

This Saturday night, Feb. 25th, at Saint Francis Xavier School. Happy hour starts at 6:00, and the band takes off at 7PM, and plays till 11PM. Come check it out, because its sure to be an absolute BLAST!!!!!

The Last (and best) Party of the Year!!

Its hard to believe, but 2016 is already nearly behind us! We have had some amazing times as a band this year, and its hard to believe they went by so fast. Just looking back over the postings in the blog serves as a reminder of some of the amazing shows and memories we have had the privilege to be a part of. A big thank you to all the fans who come out and support us: we couldn’t continue to do this without you guys. We appreciate you all so stinkin’ much!!!!
We are VERY excited for the first few months of 2017. We have several amazing venues we will be playing in the next couple months, with shows at MC’s Dugout and D.B. Searle’s in Saint Cloud, as well as the Stadium in Annandale.
We also have an action packed next few weeks, coming back to our home stage at Benton Station in Sauk Rapids on January 7th, and of course, our NEW YEARS EVE BASH in Genola at the Red Rooster tomorrow night!!!! Music starts at 9 PM and goes till the END OF THE YEAR!!!! (I couldn’t resist. We play till bar close at 1 AM) YeeHaww!!!
Halloween, and a Free Giveaway!!!!!
Howdy GJB fans!!! Boo!!!!
It’s Halloween, and boy are we busy!!!! This Friday, October 28th we will be playing “Halloween at the Hideaway!!!” in Rockville.
Then, when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the very next day, Saturday, October 29th, we will be finishing up the doubleheader at the Red Rooster in Genola!!!
These are two of our absolute favorite venues to play, and you can bet its going to be a couple of wild shows! The band will be in full costume, and we encourage you to as well!!! (I’ve seen some of the band members’ costumes, and let me tell you: you aren’t going to ever see these doofuses looking quite as ridiculous as you will this weekend!)
There are prizes and specials galore, so prepare for a spooky great time! Oh, and as a side note: anyone who attends BOTH shows this weekend will receive a FREE GREGORY JAMES BAND T-SHIRT!!!!!! YEEHAWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!

I know its been a while since our last blog, but we’ve been so stinkin’ busy there’s hardly time for basic hygiene, much less internettin’!!!!
We have had a crazy series of shows over the last few weeks:
-An AMAZING time at Rice Days, a show that none of us will ever forget!
We have some absolutely incredible footage we are still assembling into a compilation video that we will post soon. (thanks to Heather Cavanaugh and John Sawatzke for the video and audio!) This town knows how to get down, and we truly made some great memories that night. We can’t wait for next year! YEEHAWWWW!!!!!!!
-A WILD night at the Red Rooster in Genola, a place that knows how to party like no other. Such a blast at the Rooster…. CHICKS GONE WHEELIN is comin’, October 1st!!! Ladies, if you haven’t signed up yet, make sure to!

-A HEARTFELT show at the Hideaway in Rockville. We are so fortunate that the Welle’s put up with us, and let us join in their amazing atmosphere and community at the Hideaway. We love you guys!!!!
-And last but not least, a BEAUTIFUL wedding in Saint Joseph. Thanks Alex and Marie Hess. You guys have some amazing families. We are so happy you let us share in your celebration!

Sawyer Brown!!!
On Friday the 23rd, at the Benton Station’s annual tent event, we will share the stage with Diamondback, and the great Sawyer Brown!!! (And yes, in the heading I made “Brown” brown. I couldn’t resist…. 🙂 We are all big Sawyer Brown fans, so we are very excited! Music starts at 7, and if you don’t have tickets yet, you can get them in advance at Benton Station Bar and Grill for 25$. They are selling quick, and there are only so many, so get em while they’re hot!
We play at 7, and then after Sawyer Brown, we play again on the main stage inside the bar, with Diamondback. Come for some Brown, and stay for some JAMES!!!!!
It’s going to be an absolute BLAST! YEEEEE HAAWWWWWW!!!!!!!

We are very excited to have been given the privilege to help support this great organization and join in this party with the whole Sartell community! We will be sharing the stage with Levi Pelzer, and the event kicks off at 5:00 in the Sartell House of Pizza Parking lot. You may have seen our float in the Sartell parade promoting this event, so you know we have been looking forward to it for quite a while now! Tickets are 15$ in advance, or 20$ at the door, and can be obtained from either the Saint Cloud or Sartell House of Pizzas, Sartell City Hall, or any Sartell Firefighter. Looking back is tough when you have to look forward or you might run into something….
That being said, Greggapalooza 2016 is now in the rearview, and it was a MAJOR SUCCESS!!! As anyone who was lucky enough to be there knows, it was a very special event for the band, and an amazing weekend overall for the campers, and attendees of the festivities at the Castaway Bar and Grill on lake Alexander. It went off without a hitch, and we all agreed you can hardly cram more fun into a single weekend.
As always, first and foremost we have to thank Terry and Ardis Sandstrom once again for their amazing generosity in sharing their piece of paradise with us. Waking up to the smell of food cooking is just about the bees knees after a night of stompin’, strummin’, and just plain old fashioned carryin’ on, and there are absolutely no words that can adequately thank them for all they’ve done for us and our friends.
Thanks as well to Jerrid Sandstrom for owning and operating the coolest lakeside bar in the universe, and helping to make Greggapalooza the amazing event it has become! If you missed it this time around, next year will be the 3rd anniversary, and plans are already underway to make it bigger and better than ever!!!!
Looking forward, we have ANOTHER CRAZY WEEKEND ahead for GJB fans!!!! For those looking for a great time on a Friday night, check out the Hideaway Bar and Grill in Rockville to see the band in all their glory. Come for the meat raffle, stay for the great Country Tunes!!
Then tomorrow, the band is off to put the exclamation point on RICE DAYS, an event we’ve been looking forward to for some time now.
